Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) – Starting with an all-time classic in American cinema, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, was a quintessential romantic comedy film of the early ’60’s that helped boost Tiffany’s, Givenchy and jewelry, in general, in the eyes of countless viewers worldwide. Aside from the Tiffany Yellow Diamond, the Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses, and the “little black dress” by Givenchy, Audrey Hepburn frequently wore a beautiful array of pearls throughout the movie.

The Three Musketeers (1973) – In the 1973 rendition of The Three Musketeers, Milady de Winter (Faye Dunaway), wears an exorbitant amount of pearls. Surprisingly, Faye adorns these beautiful gemstones in her hair, her clothes, as earrings, necklaces, and as bracelets. In fact, her character, Milady de Winter, is actually tasked to steel two diamonds from the gorgeous necklace in England. Faye’s look truly transcended what one could do with pearls as jewelry.

For instance, this incredible pearl bracelet, sewn into a diamond and pearl floral pattern on the back of Zelda’s hand and onto a ring.

Jackie (2016) – The 2016 biopic starring Natalie Portman regarding Jackie O, the First Lady who once said, “pearls are always appropriate”, reminds audiences of the countless powerful First Ladies who’ve frequently adorned these timeless pieces of jewelry.
